Junior forward Isaiah Williams played a huge part both offensively and defensively for Academy of Art men’s basketball at the SF State Tip-Off Classic this past weekend which included a win over the Gators with a 79-66 final score.

In the Urban Knights’ first game of the weekend on Nov. 10, they matched up with Sonoma State where Williams knocked down some big-time shots to keep his team in it in the clutch. He contributed seven straight points for his squad in overtime while adding on three rebounds, two steals, and one block in the game.

Williams continued his strong play throughout the duration of the game against SF State on Nov. 11, leading his team to victory with a 21-point performance with six rebounds, four steals, and one block. The game against the Gators was his first career start with ART U as he played 35 minutes.
