Academy of Art track & field's Grace Southern delivered NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional marks on back-to-back days in the Bryan Clay Invitational, excelling in the 800m and 1500m.

First on Apr. 17, Southern turned in her second consecutive Outdoor Nationals provisional time in the 800m, pushing to a personal-best 2:08.86 to take over the third spot in ART U history and top 20 in the country. The Textile Design major then posted her fourth straight improvement in the 1500m with her fastest mark of the year at 4:27.85 on Apr. 18. Placing 19th of 160 competitors with many NCAA DI challengers in the mix, Southern boosted up to 33rd in the nation.
