A five-point day Wednesday by Réa Laudat at home against Cal State East Bay helped lead the Urban Knights to their first draw of the season in a 3-3 final at Crocker Amazon Park.

Laudat scored her second and third goals of the season and assisted on another as ART U earned the double overtime tie. Her first goal knotted the game at 1-1 after the Knights were trailing just 2 minutes, 39 seconds into the match. She put a foot on a bouncing ball in the ninth minute and lobbed it high in the air from 20 yards away – just out of the reach of CSUEB goalkeeper Selena Braun to even it up.

Laudat thrillingly gave the Urban Knights a 3-2 lead late in the match, scoring in the 82nd minute after Caina Field and fellow Brit Louise Fillingham tapped it to her in the box. The British Connection was on earlier in the match when Laudat sent a short pass to Fillingham, who scored on another high-arching shot from 35 yards away to make it 2-1 in the first half.
