Competing in his first collegiate 10k at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships, junior Valentin Pepiot finished 15th overall to become Academy of Art University's second male runner ever to qualify for Nationals. Moving at a pace just over five minutes per mile Pepiot posted a time of 31:32.3 which made him the fourth highest junior to cross the line.

He would be awarded All-Region Team honors by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and now looks ahead to Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky on Dec. 6.
