Valentin Pepiot posted his second 1500m NCAA Nationals automatic qualifier in as many meets at the USF West Coast Last Chance Meet on May 14. The senior would deliver another program record with a time of 3:43.90, topping his previous No. 1 mark by nearly three full seconds. Convincingly winning the race (next closest competitor, Ryan Driscoll of the University of San Francisco, was 3.5 seconds behind), Pepiot moved up to fourth in the country in the event.
