In ART U's 2-2 week hosting UH Hilo, freshman infielder Freddie Carrillo continued to wield a hot bat, remaining the team's leader in batting average, doubles, and runs batted in. For the week, she had multi-hit games in each of the four games, batting .571 (8-for-14) with five runs batted in and two stolen bases.

After a 2-for-3 opener, the Graphic Design major went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in game two of the series, driving in what would prove to be the game-winning run in the Knights' 10-9 victory over the Vulcans. Day two saw Carrillo go 2-for-5 in the series' third game then 2-for-2 with another two RBIs in the finale.

On the year, Carrillo ranks seventh in the PacWest in batting average (.395), fourth in doubles (8), and 20th in RBIs (17).
