Doing a little bit of everything in the Urban Knights' opening-weekend, sophomore outside hitter Ashley Pawlak averaged 1.83 kills and 3.25 digs per set while adding four assists, three service aces, and two blocks.

The Communications & Media Technologies major posted a team-high 12 digs in the Aug. 24 opener against Sonoma State and delivered seven kills versus Chico State later that day. She then collected a season-best 15 digs in the match with Humboldt State on Aug. 25 and held the team-high with seven kills against Stanislaus State.
