Graduate student Hasna Kaarour, the Pacific West Conference Runner of the Year, led Academy of Art women's cross country once again on Nov. 9 in the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships.

Taking 12th overall in a 186-runner field, Kaarour beat her previous 6k personal record from the PacWest Championships by more than 43 seconds with a 21:06.99. She was the top finisher from the conference and earned All-Region honors for her efforts.
