Junior outside hitter Isaura Santos helped Academy of Art volleyball open Pacific West Conference play with her two highest kill totals of the season this past week.

Beginning with Azusa Pacific on Sept. 17, the Communications & Media Technologies major led all competitors with 20 kills including nine in the opening set which saw her hit .615. Santos added eight digs in the contest, tying her third-highest total of the season thus far. She then delivered another 20 kills (her team's highest total) one day later on Sept. 18 against Point Loma, contributing 11 digs alongside for her second double-double of the year.

On the week, Santos averaged 20.0 kills and 9.5 digs while hitting .223 in the two matches.
