Graduate student Hasna Kaarour was a key contributor to Academy of Art women's cross country's first Pacific West Conference championship as the third finisher overall at the PacWest Championship meet on Oct. 23.

At the front with eventual individual winner and teammate senior Natalia Novak and Lynette Ruiz of Biola for much of the 6k race, Kaarour, the 2019 defending champion, would take third overall at 22:31.5, her second-fastest time this season. Additionally, with her seventh career top 10 finish, the Landscape Architecture major moved up to take sole possession of second in ART U history.
