In her second weekend of action, Marie-Jeanne Ourega continued to solidify her place among the nation's top jumpers.

A return to Pitt State, the site of this year's NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships, for the Jan. 21 Division 2 Rumble In The Jungle saw the L'Haÿ-les-Roses, France native rise to fourth in the country with a 40-8.25 (12.40m) mark on her second attempt. That five-inch increase also elevated her to third in Academy of Art history and was more than two feet beyond the Nationals provisional standard. Her 19-8.25 (6.00m) distance in the long jump contributed five total first-place finishes in jump events for Ourega this season.
