Freshman guard Kyla Wandick delivered two breakout scoring performances in the start of Pacific West Conference play for Academy of Art women's basketball this past week.

Beginning with the Urban Knights' PacWest opener versus Point Loma on Dec. 1, Wandick turned in a game-high 15 points on 6-for-13 shooting from the field for her season-high to through the first six contests of her collegiate career while adding two assists, one rebound, and one steal. Two days later on Dec. 3, the Communications & Media Technologies major bettered her previous total with a new season-best 17 points on 7-for-14 shooting from the floor with 10 of those points coming in the third quarter alone.

For the week, Wandick averaged 16.0 points per game on 48.1 percent shooting from the field.
