Junior right-hander Devan Quesada set the bar high in the opening contest of the series against Menlo on Friday, logging a quality start in ART U's 5-3 win over the Oaks by lasting seven full innings while allowing just three runs (only one earned) on just two hits while fanning a season-high nine batters. It was the second win of the season for Quesada as he improves to 2-0, and he faced just 27 batters (six over his minimum) while retiring the side in order a total of three times (struck out the side in the fourth despite a hit batter).
