Favretto shoots one under
On September 13, 2008 the men's golf team made their way up the state of California to play in Chico, CA. The tournament was hosted by Chico State University at Butte Creek Country Club. The tournament consisted of 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
At the end of the first day AAU saw themselves in last place by 10 strokes. The first two rounds were challenging for the Urban Knights, however, they found a way to rally back and gain momentum. Turning it around in the third round. On the 2nd and final day of the tournament AAU shot a 304 and ended up taking 7th place for the day. Stuart Favretto shot a record of one under par, finishing the tournament with a score of71. Coach Aud reflected on the game saying “I am really proud of Stuart. His hard work and dedication is beginning to pay off.”
AAU as a team took 10
th place in the tournament.
Next week AAU will compete in Santa Clara Invitational.
