San Francisco, CA -- Three Urban Knight women's volleyball players were chosen to the 2010 All-PacWest Volleyball Team. In a season full of surprises, it was no surprise that
Dan Yang,
Melissa Cheng, and
Amy Bush would be recognized for their stellar game play during the 2010 season
Dan Yang earns her second First Team honor. Yang led the Urban Knights offensively in almost every game, and was a shinning beacon of light on this young squad.
The senior registered double digit kills in all but three matches this season, and had seven +20 kill performances. Phooey earned a season high 23 kills in the Urban Knights victory over Dixie State College. Yang finished her career third in the conference in kills and points, finishing with 400 kills and 440 points on the season.
Phooey was a PacWest Top 10 Honor Roll selection for 11 straight weeks, earning two PacWest Player of the Week honors as well.

Melissa Cheng. Cheng earns a Second Team nomination for her phenomenal game play this season.
The sophomore finished third in the PacWest in assists per set, although she led the league in total assists with 992. Cheng has combined for 2178 assists in just two seasons as an Urban Knight. Cheng tied her season high 56 assists twice this season. Melissa is one of three players to play in all 102 sets and has accumulated 109 kills as well as 29 blocks.
Amy Bush was a player that Head Coach Allison Magner could count on to play consistently all season.
The junior earned an Honorable Mention nod on the 2010 All PacWest Volleyball Team. Bush was a silent leader on the court, and helped led the Urban Knights to their third consecutive above .500 finish. Bush led the conference in hitting percentage, with a .352 average. She amassed 189 kills with just 49 errors on 389 attempts. Bush notched a season high 15 kills in ART U's victory over Holy Names University.
She also led the team in blocks, finishing with a team high 61. Bush tied her season high seven blocks three times this season.
