San Francisco, CA- After an impressive week of play, the Academy of Art University had two players receive PacWest Honor Roll honors for the week of February 15th-21st. Those two players were Alana Aweau and Sierrah Garcia.

Aweau, a junior from Fairfield, CA, helped lead her team to a 3-1 week. She had a .429 batting average, with a home run, two doubles, four runs batted in, and two runs scored. Aweau also had a .500 on base average, recording two walks, and posted a .786 slugging percentage.

Garcia, a sophomore from Los Banos, CA, also helped carry her team to three victories on the week. She hit .636, going 7-11 with five runs scored, and four runs batted in. Sierrah also had a .636 slugging percentage, and a .714 on base average. She also led her team defensively with strong outings on the mound. Garcia had a 2-0 record last week, allowing just five earned runs, and posted 18 striekouts, and a 3.14 earned run average.
