Final Results

Hayward, CA ---
In three days of frigid temperatures and strong winds, the Urban Knights men's golf team captured a 10th place result at the Pioneer Shootout hosted by Cal State East Bay this week. Junior Erik Majzner posted strong scores throughout to lead Academy of Art with a 231 (73-83-75) and earn a tie for 17th place individually.

AAU got off to a strong start on the first day with the third-best score of all 12 teams participating in the tournament. Garcia posted a 273 (78-79-80) which put him in a tie for 36th place individually while Carney wrapped up the three days of golf in a tie for 47th with his 245 (79-84-82) score. Rounding out the Urban Knights' foursome was sophomore Stuart Favretto who registered a 252 (83-84-85) and was tied for 58th place.
