San Francisco, CA - The Urban Knights' freshman pitcher Kimberly Dauer was named Pacific West Conference pitcher of the week for her accomplishments on the mound from April 5th-11th. She is the first Urban Knight to receive the honor in school history. Junior Ashley Lokey was again named to the PacWest Honor Roll for her outstanding offense also for the week of April 5th-11th.
Dauer, Pitcher, Los Osos, CA., earned a complete game victory against Notre Dame de Namur University on April 10th. During that victory she posted a 1.00 earned run average, allowing just one earned run in seven innings. Kim gave up just five hits, recorded three strikeouts, and kept her opponents to a .185 batting average.
Lokey, Outfield/First Base, Eugene, OR., continued her hot streak last week by hitting a .750 in the double header against Notre Dame de Namur University. She went 6-8 with three runs scored, one run batted in, and one stolen base. Also during those games, Ashley posted a .750 slugging percentage, as well as a .750 on base mark.
