Monday's Results
Laie, HI--- In seventh place out of eight teams after the first day of the 2010 Hawaiian Airlines PacWest Men’s Golf Championship, Academy of Art (618) sits 31 strokes behind tied for first place leaders, Dixie State College (587) and defending champions Grand Canyon University at Kapolei Golf Course Monday.

Matt Garcia, the 2009 PacWest Championship winner, has struggled early on the field and is in 25th place (78-77 -- 155) with Hawaii Pacific's Connor Rumpf.
The Urban Knights were in sixth place after the first round of play but dropped one spot after the second round to finish day one in seventh place just above Chaminade University.
Stuart Favretto is 9th overall at 4-over-par (76-72 -- 148). Senior
Dave Carney finished the first round tied with teammate Favretto shooting 76 but after an 80 second round
Carney finds himself tied for 27th going into the third and final day.
Erik Majzner sits three strokes behind Carney in 32nd place, 79-80--159, while Oscar Walden rounds out the group, shooting a 207 (100-107) which puts him in 42nd.
The Urban Knights will finish the Championships tomorrow when they play the third and final round.
