Two women's volleyball members were selected to the Pacific West Conference Top 10 Honor Roll. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Sept. 27, for matches played from Sept. 20-26.
Camille Board and
Dan Yang were the two athletes who received the honor this week.
Board helped guide the Urban Knights to a 2-0 mark by hitting .436, second best in the conference, over the week. The junior posted 20 kills and just three errors in 39 attempts during the Urban Knights two wins over Grand Canyon University.
Board recorded 11 kills with zero errors along with four block assists in the Urban Knights final home match against Grand Canyon University.
Dan Yang earns her fourth consecutive nod on the PacWest Weekly Report, twice as Player of the Week and twice as an Top Ten Honor Roll selection.
Yang led the Urban Knights to a 2-0 week by averaging 4.00 kills and 4.25 points per game. The senior ranked fifth in scoring and fourth in kills per game for the week in the league.
Yang totaled 42.5 points on 40 kills, three block assists and an ace.
The senior recorded 21 kills in ART U's first match against GCU, and 19 kills and 14 digs in the Urban Knights Sept 22 , 3-2, win over Grand Canyon University. The pair of games mark Yang's 11th game with double digit kills.
