San Francisco, CA – The Urban Knights' softball team is gearing up to play their only games of the fall season which are taking place this upcoming weekend, October 8th and 9th. The team is set to play four games in two days, participating in the Battle of the Bay tournament on Saturday, before playing two games at UC Davis on Sunday. The Knights will play three Division I teams, and one community college team throughout the weekend.

ART U is first put to the test when they battle Division I UC Berkeley in their first game on Saturday. After a two game break, the Knights take on Sierra Community College in the nightcap. Game times are scheduled for 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM respectively, at Alden E. Oliver Sports Complex in Hayward, CA.

The next day the Knights are right back in action when they face UC Davis followed by a game against Sacramento State on Sunday. The game against the Aggies will start at 12:00 PM followed by a 2:00 PM game against the Hornets. Both games will be held at La Rue Field in Davis, CA.

All four games are exhibition games, and do not count towards the Urban Knights' regular season statistics. After the games this weekend, the Academy of Art University softball team will not play again until February for the start of their 2012 season.
