Bryan Fisher both made the PacWest Weekly Fantastic 15 after a good showing in the Urban Knights one game of the week, a loss to Cal State Monterey Bay. The conference announced the award on Monday, Dec. 17, for games played Dec. 10-16.
Carmon continued to make himself a household name for Urban Knights basketball fans after scoring a career-high 26 points in Saturday's loss . A big chunk of his scoring came from the free-throw line, where he made 10-of-11, putting him at 84% on the season. He also had eight rebounds for the Knights in earning his third selection to the PacWest Fantastic 15.
Fisher continued his strong play across the stat sheet, as he tallied 16 points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal, He shot 60.0% (3 for 5) from beyond the arc, and made 6 of 13 (46.1%) attempts from the floor. Fisher is second on the team in minutes, and is averaging 9.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per contest. This was his first selection to the PacWest Fantastic 15.
The Knights will finish up the calendar year with a non-conference game against Simon Fraser on Wednesday, as they attempt to stay undefeated at home on the season.
