PacWest Release
Phoenix, AZ -- The Urban Knights were represented on the PacWest Top 10 Honor Roll again, and by the same person who has been selected on nine of the fifteen Honor Rolls this year. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Feb. 20, for games played Feb. 13-19.
The Knights only had one game last week, and

Shamsud-din recently set the Academy of Art record for three-pointers made in a single season, making 47 treys so far, breaking the program record of 45 by Weleh Dennis set in 2010. The Portland, OR native is also well within reach of teammate William Overton Jr.'s single-season scoring record of 434 points, having scored his 400th point of the year in the loss to Grand Canyon. He is also within reach of 100 rebounds, totaling 95 this year, and has 67 assists and 31 steals, both second on the team.
Shamsud-din has also been named PacWest Men's Basketball Player of the Week once, for the week of November 13th. The Urban Knights return home for the remainder of the season, with the first game of the home stand on February 21st against Hawaii Pacific.
