Round 3 Scores

Vallejo, CA --
Wrapping up their first tournament of the spring, the Academy of Art men's golf team got a nice final round from Sean Etow and the rest of their squad, cutting 10 strokes off their second round score and posting their lowest round score of the tournament to stand pat for a seventh-place finish.

Academy of Art finished nine strokes out of sixth place and only ten out of the top five. PacWest rival Grand Canyon took the top spot with three top-ten finishers, followed by Sonoma State (921), host Cal State East Bay (936), Cal State San Bernardino (949), and Holy Names (961) rounded out the top five. Dominican was in sixth with a final score of 962.

The Urban Knights ended with two top-twenty finishers overall, as Etow tied for 12th and Alberto "Dago" Esponda tied for 14th in the individual standings. Etow's round of 75 was the best of the tournament for the Urban Knights. Newcomers Dat Do (T30th) and Tommaso Vielmo (42nd) also competed for ART U.
