Knights Ink Taylor Ah Mook Sang For 2015

11615SAN FRANCISCO – Adding versatility to its 2015-16 lineup, Academy of Art University Softball and head coach Sonja Garnett have officially announced signs Taylor Ah Mook Sang, a catcher/outfielder from James B. Castle High School in Kaneohe, Hawaii, to a National Letter of Intent.

"Taylor fit into our softball family immediately," said Garnett. "She is hard working, humble, strong and extremely coachable. She is a utility athlete, and will provide depth behind the plate. I look forward to adding her personality to our program!"

Ah Mook Sang has competed in three sports in her time at James B. Castle High including softball (2011-15), soccer (2011), and air riflery (2014). Serving a valuable utility role under head coach Jon Berinobis, Ah Mook Sang will turn in her fourth year on varsity this spring then transition from "Knight" to "Urban Knight" with ART U following the summer of 2015.

Daughter to Deanne and Chris Ah Mook Sang as well as sister to Tori, Kerrigan, Kia'i, and Kamaile, Taylor joins Academy of Art University next fall as a student in the Schools of Animation and Game Design with plans to pursue a career as an imagineer at the Walt Disney company.
