2015 All-PacWest Conference Men's Soccer Team

The Academy of Art had two men's soccer players given the honor of being named to the 2015 All-PacWest Team: senior midfielder Kristof Urbanyi and senior defender Lennart Fleschhut.
 
The All-PacWest award is made up of three full teams voted on by head coaches throughout the conference at the end of the season. This award places Urbanyi and Fleschhut within the top nine players at their position in the conference.

Urbanyi played a big role in his final season as an Urban Knight, leading the conference in total shots (69), averaging 3.83 per game. As a captain and four-year veteran for ART U, Urbanyi led the team in multiple categories: points (14), goals (6), shots (69), shots on goal (37), and game-winning goals (3). Urbanyi was also well-known for his dedication to academics, twice being named to the PacWest Academic All-Conference team. On senior day, the Hungarian etched himself into school history: with 11 seconds remaining in the first half, Urbanyi scored, netting him the most points in school history (37) and giving him a tie for the most game-winning goals (7). The midfielder also has the second-most all-time goals at the Academy of Art (15), one behind alum Grimur Grimsson. This year marks the second time that Urbanyi has been named to the All-PacWest team (2014).
  
Fleschhut also captained the 2015 men's soccer squad and was one of only three players to start and play in all 18 games. The defender played all four years at ART U and is also a two-time PacWest Academic All Conference member, but also won the division two ADA Academic Achievement Award in 2013. Fleschhut has also broken a few school records of his own, playing 6,017 minutes (first place) and starting 66 games (first place). His 68 total games played is tied for first with alumni Andrew Durano and Richard Luna.
 
Overall, the men's soccer team finished the season in 7^th place (8-8-2, 6-6-1 PacWest)
