SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The Urban Knights finished up their fall season on Sunday with a series of singles matches versus Nevada as part of Santa Clara's Bronco Invitational. Returning to the Degheri Tennis Center for the third consecutive day, Academy of Art University managed to get its six singles pairings in before inclement weather canceled the remainder of the tournament.
"Being the last fall tournament with some tough Division I competition, I felt all across the board we competed well and played as a team," said head coach Nicole Briceno-Garzon. "A lot of the missing puzzle pieces we've been working on came together in this tournament and the girls did a great job of taking charge, especially in doubles. All three teams played well and I thought we ended on a good note. We will use the experience and confidence we built in this tournament to finish our season strong on the court and be ready for the spring."?Junior
