BACK TO WORK
After a two-week break from games, the Urban Knights are back in action next week, traveling to Oakland on Tuesday, then returning home to play Point Loma and Hawaii Pacific on Thursday and Saturday respectively.
 
TIP OFF
The Academy of Art will take on the Hawks on Tuesday, January 7, at 7:30 p.m. Two days later, the Urban Knights tip off at 2:30 p.m. against the Sea Lions and on Saturday will play the Sharks at 3:30 p.m. Live coverage will be available at the links listed above, but as always, you can follow the Urban Knights on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
 
KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Overall, junior guard Chris Salas leads the team in points per game (13.5), field goals made per game (4.7), three-point field goals made per game (1.9), rebounds (4.7 per game), and has accumulated the second-most minutes (26.9 per game). Sophomore guard Jase Harrison is also having a great season as he leads the team in field goal percentage (.467), steals per game (2.0), and minutes per game (28.6).
 
HAWKS LOOKING TO GET ON TRACK
Overall, Holy Names is 2-9 and 1-3 in the PacWest and lost their previous matchup against Fresno Pacific 77-67. Joshua Crum has been the top performer for HNU thus far with a team-high 18.9 points and 36.1 minutes per game. Crum is also shooting 48.9 percent from the field. Holy Names has a 3-6 all-time record against Academy of Art.
 
SEA LIONS LOOKING FOR A WIN
Point Loma has lost their previous three contests, but will will compete in two games against UC Santa Barbara and Notre Dame de Namur before taking on the Urban Knights on January 7th. The Sea Lions hold an all-time 3-2 record over ART U. Josh Rodriguez tops PLNU's stat sheet, leading in several per-game statistics including: points (17.2), assists (6.6), steals (2.2), and minutes (34.9).
 
SHARKS HEADING FOR OPEN WATER
Hawaii Pacific is heading to California to play three games over a span of four days with Academy Art being their final matchup before returning to the Aloha State. The 9th place sharks have been led thus far by Chauncey Orr with team-highs in points per game (14.9), rebounds per game (5.8), and minutes-played (29.0 per game). HPU comes into Saturday's game with an 8-2 overall record against ART U.

URBAN KNIGHTS FALL TO FPU IN SHOOTING FEST
Dec. 19-It was a shooting fest on Saturday as Academy of Art (4-6, 2-2 PacWest) and Fresno Pacific University (7-3, 3-1 PacWest) both had field goal percentages higher than 59 percent in the first half. ART U was too slow to the draw however, falling 98-85 after a late FPU run.

LOOKING AHEAD
After Saturday's game against Hawaii Pacific, the Urban Knights will set sail for Hawaii for three games against University of Hawaii at Hilo, Hawaii Pacific, and BYU-Hawaii.
