The Trim, Ireland native finished the tournament tied for 11th, rising 15 spots in the standings.

"Daniel had a really solid round today," said head coach
Andy Moren. "I think he will continue to establish himself as a strong player."

With an overall total of 220, Cosgrove was just one stroke behind ART U's top performer, junior
Oskar Frick. Frick rose five spots on the leaderboard to finish in a three-way tie for eighth-place after shooting a 72 in the third round.

"It was good to see Oskar continue his strong play," said Moren. "I was also impressed with the way both Daniel and Oskar stepped up to be the guys who led the team."

As a group, the Urban Knights finished in ninth-place out of ten universities, but were one of only three teams to improve their overall score after every round. With an overall score of 925 ( 61), Academy of Art trailed 8th-place Redlands by a mere 12 strokes and led 10th-place Chapman by 43. Sonoma State won the tournament, a dominant 20 strokes in front of Cal State East Bay. The Seawolves were led by Justin Shluker who took home the individual title after finishing 11 strokes under par.
