KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Freshman guard Dante Williams had an impressive debut in an ART U uniform. The Compton, Calif. native averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while going a perfect 16-for-16 at the free-throw line. For his efforts, he was named PacWest Freshman of the Week for the week of November 14. Senior forward Chris Salas had a memorable game against SF State, scoring a career-high 27 points. Salas completed a double-double by collecting 10 rebounds on the night as well.

COYOTES COMING OFF A WIN
After falling at the hands of Central Washington, Cal State San Bernardino rallied for a 15-point victory over Concordia (Ore.) on November 12. Khleem Perkins leads the team thus far, averaging 16.5 points and is second with 33.5 minutes per game.

SEAWOLVES BACK ON TRACK
Sonoma State enters this weekend's tournament with a record of 1-1, but SSU dropped a pair of exhibition games to UC San Diego and Division I Loyola Marymount. Last weekend, the Seawolves lost their regular-season opener against Western Washington, but turned things around against Notre Dame de Namur, taking the contest by a comfortable, 22-point margin (64-42). Jimmy Golden leads the team throughout their first two contests, having scored 11 field goals, averaging 16.0 points per game.

PREVIOUS GAME: ACADEMY OF ART TRIUMPHS OVER WARRIORS IN OT
Nov. 11 - It took more than two halves to decide Saturday's matchup pitting Academy of Art University men's basketball against Stanislaus State. An even 74-74 at the end of regulation, the game progressed into overtime where the Urban Knights jumped ahead via a 9-3 run and fended off the Warriors once more for the 88-85 victory to close SF State's Tipoff Classic. Freshman guard and All-Tournament Team selection Dante Williams sealed ART U's first win with free throws late in the extra period, giving him 17 points to lead four Knights scoring in double figures.

LOOKING AHEAD
After closing out the Sonoma State Challenge, the Urban Knights will head to the Carl's Jr. Mac Martin Invitational, their third and final tournament of the fall.
