KNOTABLE KNIGHTSThe Urban Knights are 3-0 thus far, defeating their opponents by a combined 23-2. Six ART U players are undefeated in singles matches, including senior Michelle Dandik and freshmen
Alma Thell-Lenntorp and
Klara Thell-Lenntorp who are 3-0. All three doubles teams are all undefeated as well.
SEAWOLVES UNDEFEATEDSonoma State comes into Saturday's match 4-0 and have only lost one point all season when they played Holy Names (8-1). Jensyn Warren is 13-1 dating back to the fall and has posted a 2-0 record in both first and second singles this spring.
ART U DEFEATS DIXIE, REMAINS UNDEFEATEDFebruary 14 – It was a hot, sunny Valentine's Day in the city by the bay which perfectly epitomized ART U women's tennis type of play as of late: scalding. The No. 23 Urban Knights won their third match of the season and improved to 3-0 after handing Dixie State an 8-1 defeat.
The day got going with three doubles matches in which ART U collectively lost just a single game. Junior
Annika Schneider and freshman
Taisiia Andrieieva combined for an 8-0 victory and freshmen
Alma Thell-Lenntorp and
Klara Thell-Lenntorp paired up for the same score. Freshman
Paula Alcantara and senior
Michelle Dandik Zaale's doubles match resulted in a convincing 8-1 victory.
LOOKING AHEADART U will play their second-to-last match of their month-long home stand on Saturday, November 27 when University of Nevada visits the San Francisco Tennis Club.
