Fujikura Invitational Final ResultsÂ
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – ART U showed progressive improvement in the Fujikura Invitational's final day as two of Academy of Art's players posted their best scores of the tournament while the team finished ninth overall.

One of said Knights included sophomore
Oskar Frick who scored a 72 on the final day, improving three strokes over his second round on Monday. Frick finished the invitational in 10th-place with an overall score of 221 (9 strokes behind first-place Lee Gearhart from Chico State).

Senior
Dat Do had the second-lowest score for Academy of Art, finishing tied for 33rd after scoring 78, 75, and 78 in respective rounds.

Resdshirt senior
Cody Moore had a much-improved third round, finishing ten strokes lower (77) than his 87-stroke round two.

"It was a pretty good first event," said head coach
Andy Moren. "We showed some good signs of things to come. The boys all gave their best on a challenging course and I'm excited about the rest of the Spring."

The Urban Knights return to friendly confines to host the East-West Golf Invitational at Wente Vineyards on February 15, marking the program's first-ever home tournament.
