CBU Spring Break Collegiate Day Two Final Results CORONA, Calif. – Exiting day one tied for 14th-place, Academy of Art men's golf looked to rise the leaderboard on the final day. After shooting their second best round as a team (312), the Urban Knights jumped to 13th overall.
Senior
Dat Do led the way for ART U, posting the team's top score in each of the three rounds. Coming into round two tied for 14th, Do matched his first round stroke total of 73 to crack the top ten and finished in a tie for 10th-place. The placing matches his highest tournament ranking which he also achieved at this season's
East-West Golf Invitational.
"Dat helped anchor our team," said head coach
Andy Moren. "He committed to making a big change in the Fall of last year and it is now really starting to show. His results have been trending in the right direction and we hope for more of the same in the last couple of events."
Sophomore
Oskar Frick finished the tournament tied for 33rd after shooting a 76 and 74 respectively in rounds one and two. Furthermore, sophomore
Daniel Cosgrove tied for 63rd after seeing a four-stroke improvement (76) over his round two effort.
Academy of Art will compete in one more tournament during the regular season when they head to the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational April 11-12.
