PacWest Golfers of the Week September 29, 2016
SAN FRANCISCO – Academy of Art men's golfer
Oskar Frick was named PacWest Co-Golfer of the Week after tying for second in the Western Washington Invitational.
Â
In the Urban Knights' first tournament of the fall, the Architecture major followed up his opening two rounds of 71 apiece by shooting a 70 on the final day. His two-under-par performance was the second-best score out of all individuals in the third round and included three birdies and an eagle. In fact, Frick's two eagles throughout the tournament were the second most scored by an individual. Frick's overall score of 212 was four strokes under par and just one stroke behind Chis Crisologo from Simon Fraser who captured the top spot. This was also Frick's best performance since winning the Sonoma State Invitational on
October 13, 2015 when he finished 10 under par.
