PENGUINS SEEK RESTITUTION
After losing to the Urban Knights at home for the first time in program history, Dominican will look to return the favor on January 19 when they head to Kezar Pavilion. The Penguins are currently 4-12 (3-7 PacWest) with Jeremiah Gray leading the way, averaging 16.3 points per game.
Â
ARGOS IN SEARCH OF FIRST ROAD "W"
Notre Dame de Namur's three victories this season have all taken place at home, but after facing Fresno Pacific on January 20, NDNU will hit the road with four more opportunities to break their streak. Tre'shawn King-Dunbar is the Argonauts' statistical leader in average points (14.5) and steals (1.7).
Â
SUNBIRDS LOOKING TO TAKE FLIGHT
Despite a 3-13 (3-6 PacWest) record, Fresno Pacific is coming off of a big, two-overtime 112-108 win against Chaminade. Before taking on ART U, FPU will face Notre Dame de Namur and California Baptist. Spencer Krannitz is the team leader in a pair of offensive categories including points per game (13.1) and steals per game (1.4).
PREVIOUS GAME: ART U OUTLASTED BY CHAMINADE 82-70
Jan. 16 - The Urban Knights got off to a hot start in the first half, leading most of the way up until the 8:56 mark when CBU took a 24-23 lead. Up to that point, ART U overmatched the Lancers, shooting over 60 percent from the field. Freshman forward
Luka Radovic was a big contributor out of the gate, going 5-for-5 and scoring each of the Urban Knights' first 10 points. ART U's biggest lead of the half came when senior guard
Herman Pratt IVÂ landed a triple from the right wing, making it a 5-point, 21-16 game with 10:54 remaining in the period. However, CBU managed to put together a streak of their own in the final minutes of the half, taking a 52-32 advantage into the locker rooms.
LOOKING AHEAD
After closing out their three-game homestand, the Urban Knights will head to San Diego for a matchup against Point Loma before returning home for a rematch against Holy Names.
