ACADEMY OF ART FACES SUNBIRDS ONCE AGAIN IN FRESNO
In its penultimate roadtrip this season, ART U Volleyball heads to Fresno Pacific for Friday's Pacific West Conference rematch with the Sunbirds.

KNIGHT WATCH
Now averaging a program single-season record 1.78 service aces per set, Academy of Art has extended its hold on the top mark in the PacWest Conference. With at least one ace in eight of her last 10 matches and 18 during that span, freshman libero Ashley Pawlak finds herself fourth in the PacWest at 0.40 aces per set. She adds 3.85 digs per set as well (10th in the conference). Another freshman, middle blocker Sadie Emery, has moved into the PacWest's top 10 in hitting percentage at .305, a mark that is currently the highest be a freshman in program history. Sophomore setter Lilika Teu is seventh in the PacWest in assists per set (6.56) and, after recently passing Amy Bush, senior outside hitter Bailey Soolsma now has the fifth-most kills in program history (579) and comes in putting up 3.10 kills per set (ninth in the PacWest).

SUNBIRDS FLY HOME TO TAKE ON KNIGHTS
With a record of 9-14 overall and 7-7 in PacWest conference play, Fresno Pacific is eighth overall in the PacWest standings. After winning five of their first six conference home matches, the Sunbirds' current three-game losing streak began at No. 6 California Baptist's hand two weeks ago. Contributing to the Sunbirds' 16.97 digs per set (second in the PacWest), Tiff Wong leads the team at 3.79 digs per set. Fresno Pacific is 9-1 all-time against the Knights after FPU's Sept. 29 five-set win earlier this year.

DOMINICAN MANAGES SWEEP OF ART U
Academy of Art Volleyball took a tough loss to Dominican 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-17) inside the Penguins' Conlan Center on Oct. 28.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Urban Knights' home-heavy final stretch of the season will feature San Francisco matchups with Notre Dame de Namur (Nov. 7) and Chaminade (Nov. 9) before one final roadtrip to Dixie State on Nov. 12.
