Academy of Art will play their final two contests of the season when UH Hilo and Azusa Pacific come to town this weekend, marking the final games for seniors

ART U tips off against the Vulcans at 7:30 p.m. on February 23 and 3:30 p.m. on the 25th against the Cougars. Both games will have promotions for the fans including an 80's night on Thursday and Ice Cream Wars on Saturday (complete info can be found on the flyers).

KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Academy of Art will honor Salas and Pratt's final game on Saturday when the Urban Knights take on Azusa Pacific and both close out their careers having made significant contributions to the men's basketball program. In his four-year career with ART U, Pratt leads men's basketball with 96 steals (1.09 per game-7th-highest average), holds the 3rd-most minutes-played (2,224), has played in the 5th-most games (88), and holds the 9th-highest field goal percentage (.436). Salas spent two years with the program and currently leads the team with an average 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Salas also averaged the most minutes this season (28.4) and holds the program's 10th-highest career-field goal percentage (.429).

VULCANS FINISH SEASON ON THE ROAD
After dropping six in a row, UH Hilo has turned things around, winning three of their last four matchups including a close, 94-92 win at Holy Names on February 21. Parker Ferris has been Hilo's biggest scorer this season, averaging 22.6 points per game, the second-best total in the PacWest. The Vulcans will close out their season at Dominican on the 25th after facing the Urban Knights on the 23rd.

COUGARS VYING FOR PACWEST BID
At 9-9, Azusa Pacific will take on Notre Dame de Namur and Academy of Art, hoping to solidify one of the final six spots in the PacWest Championship. If the Cougars win both games they will automatically qualify and receive the 5th-seed. Petar Kutlesic has been their most effective scorer to this point, averaging 15.3 points per game. The junior forward also leads the team with an average 8.5 rebounds per contest.

Feb. 20 - Academy of Art men's basketball (6-18, 5-13 PacWest) made their return to San Francisco on Monday, kicking off their final home stand of the year with a 7:30 p.m. tipoff against the Concordia Eagles (17-10, 13-6 PacWest). Although the Urban Knights came from behind to tie the game twice in the second half, they were unable to complete the comeback, falling in the final seconds of the 82-75 affair.
