Midwestern State Invitational Final Results
 
WITCHITA FALLS, Texas – No. 17 women's golf returned to the Witchita Falls Country Club for the final round of action Monday morning. The Urban Knights improved 16 strokes over their first day total to score 640 overall and finish in sixth place.
 
After shooting an 80 in the opening round, junior Shu-lin Lin led ART U once again, this time scoring a 78 (+6), fetching a tie for 13th. The Taiwan native totaled three birdies on the day, the most of any other teammate. Finishing just one stroke behind Lin, junior Sterling Hawkins finished 20th and also shot a 78 in the second round which included 14 pars. In third place for the Urban Knights was senior Crystal Wang. After posting an 82 on Monday, Wang improved to 81 strokes in Tuesday's closing round. With 163 strokes overall, she finished the competition tied for 33rd-place.
 
The Urban Knights finished up their third tournament of the season 27 strokes behind first-place, No. 3-ranked Dallas Baptist who had three players finish within the top ten. Academy of Art will now head home and prepare for their next tournament, the Otter Invitational March 20-21.
