DII West Region Preview Round One Results

CARLSBAD, Calif.  – Academy of Art women's golf ended the first day of the DII West Region Preview in sixth place after shooting a 311 as a team. Junior Anahi Servin led the Urban Knights in a tie for ninth with her 3-over-par 75. 

Servin picked up three birdies on the day, on the third, seventh, and 17th. Ending in a tie for 19th junior Iveta Posledni shot a 5-over-par 77. In the final two scoring positions for the Urban Knights was senior Elan Hawkins in a tie for 23rd with a 6-over-par 78 and redshirt senior Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo who ended her day tied for 45th with a 9-over-par 81. 

Academy of Art will return to the links of the La Costa Golf Resort for an 8:30 a.m. tee time to close out the DII West Region Preview.
