KNIGHT WATCH
Junior guard
Kai Tease is ART U's leading scorer with 12.0 points per game. His highest scoring performance came in the Urban Knights
first win of the season against Sonoma State when he dropped 19 points, which is still the highest single-game scoring performance of any ART U player this season. Tease has scored double-figures in 4-of-5 games this season. Senior forward
Tim Graham is the other Urban Knight averaging double-digit scoring with his 11.0 points per game. Graham leads the team in a few statistical categories, including rebounds, blocks, and 3-pointers. His 7.6 rebounds per game are fifth most in the PacWest, while his four blocks and 11 3-pointers both place him in the top-10 in the PacWest. Junior guard
Joshua Bagley leads ART U in assists with 15 (3.0 per game) and is fourth in points averaging 9.6 per game. Junior guard
Stefan Milivojevic is behind him with 14 assists, but right in front of Bagley in points with 9.6 per game. All four of the top scorers reached double-figures in the Knights' most recent game.
DECLAWING THE 'CATS
Chico State comes into their game against the Urban Knights with a record of 2-2. The Cougars opened their season at the Seattle Pacific Sodexo Classic where they defeated Seattle Pacific 75-53 in their opener. The Cougars dropped a 97-91 decision to Azusa Pacific in their final game of the tournament. Chico State took down Holy Names 69-54 in their next game before falling to Stanislaus State 74-66 in their most recent game and CCAA conference opener. Malik Duffy leads the Cougars scoring, with an average of 16.5 points per game. Justin Briggs comes next with his 13.0 points per game. The duo of Duffy and Briggs are also the top rebounders on the team, averaging 7.3 and 7.8 rebounds per game respectively. Chico State is 4-0 all-time against ART U. This will be the team's first meeting since Nov. 25, 2016.
SECOND HALF SURGE BY OTTERS SINKS KNIGHTS
Academy of Art started the final day of the Otter Invitational strong, building a 13 point lead against host Cal State Monterey Bay before
falling to the Otters 81-74 on Saturday afternoon inside The Kelp Bed.
LOOKING AHEAD
The pre-Thanksgiving showdown with the Cougars will lead ART U into their first conference game of the season against Fresno Pacific on Dec. 5 in Fresno, Calif. at the Felix Event Center.
