ISLAND TOUR FEATURES THREE IMPORTANT GAMES
Academy of Art will say aloha to the mainland and travel to Hawaii for a trio of games. The Urban Knights start their tropical tour on the Big Island with an important game against UH Hilo before traveling to Honolulu to face Hawaii Pacific and Chaminade.

KNIGHT WATCH
Heading into the home stretch of the season, senior guard
Cobe Williams is just three assists shy of breaking the all-time career assists record. Williams made significant progress towards the record
Jan. 30 versus Fresno Pacific when he earned his first double-double on a season high 18 points and 10 assists, bringing his career assists total to 198.
On Feb. 1 junior forward
Andrija Blatancic led the Urban Knights to a win over Dominican with a team leading 23 points. Blatancic is ART U's leading scorer and the second highest scorer in the PacWest at 19.8 points per game. The Howard College transfer is also impressive on the boards, averaging 8.4 rebounds per game, second most in the conference. Junior guard
Victor Ruiz de Carranza contributed a career high seven assists in the Knights' win over Dominican in which they set a season high in assists with 20. Carranza also collected seven rebounds and scored seven points.
HILO AT HOME
UH Hilo, Holy Names, and ART U are in a battle for fifth and sixth spots in the conference standings to secure a birth for the PacWest Championship. Since defeating the Urban Knights 83-72 in the teams' first meeting on
Jan. 4, UH Hilo is 3-4. The Vulcans took down Hawaii Pacific in their next game before three straight loses to Concordia, Point Loma, and Holy Names. The Vulcans snapped the losing streak with a 66-56 victory over Notre Dame de Namur and followed it up with a 64-60 win against Azusa Pacific. Most recently UHH suffered a close loss to Biola 79-77. James Griffin is the Vulcans' leading scorer and fifth highest in the PacWest, averaging 16.8 points per game. UHH is 8-6 all-time against Academy of Art.
TREACHEROUS WATERS
The Sharks have been navigating treacherous waters since their loss to ART U on
Dec. 31. Since then, Hawaii Pacific has won just one game, an 81-57 victory over Notre Dame de Namur, while losing nine. HPU is currently on a four game losing streak and will have one game against Dominican on Feb. 6 before facing the Urban Knights. The Sharks leading scorer is Jonathan Janssen who is averaging 12.3 points per game and their all-time record against ART U is 11-4.
SUPER SCORING SILVERSWORDS
Since the Knights historic upset of then No. 12 Chaminade on
Jan. 2, the Silverswords have been solid, winning six of eight. During the span their two losses came from No. 11 Point Loma by a score of 71-75 and Azusa Pacific 64-80. The 'Swords are currently on a two game winning streak after blowing out Biola 82-58 and defeating Hawaii Pacific 92-85. Grant Dressler, the third highest scorer in the PacWest averaging 18.6 points per game, leads CUH's offense. Tyler Cartaino and Erik Scheive trail Dressler closely, averaging 16.4 and 16.0 points per game respectively to form the highest scoring trio on the highest scoring offense in the conference.
MEN'S HOOPS COMPLETES SWEEP OF DOMINICAN
Academy of Art completed the sweep of Dominican and collected a season high 20 assists to propel them to a 79-62 victory Friday night at Kezar Pavilion.

LOOKING AHEAD
After returning from Hawaii the Knights will head into the final stretch of the season, with only four games remaining. ART U begins with a huge matchup against Holy Names on Feb. 17 that is certain to have playoff implications, before the final home game of the year on Senior Night against Notre Dame de Namur on Feb. 21. Academy of Art will be on the road for their final two games of the season, facing Azusa Pacific in the penultimate game on Feb. 28 before finishing the regular season with Biola on March 3.
