Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout Day One Results

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- In the first day of the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout, Academy of Art men's golf finished tied for tenth with a cumulative score of 598 (+22) Monday at Chuck Corica Golf Course.
 
The team was lead by junior Gabriel De Leon Manotoc who shot a 74 (+2) round one and an excellent 70 (-2) round two to end the day in ninth. Behind him, tied for the 14th and two strokes back was senior Lawrence Liang who finished with a 76 (+4) and his best round of the spring thus far a 70 (-2). Sophomore Matthew Watkins finished the day the tied for 46th with scores of 74 (+2) and 77 (+5) respectively. Senior Otto Homruen rounded out the scorers with a 79 (+7) and a 78 (+6,) placing him in the 68th.
 
The Urban Knights will return to the links at Chuck Corica Golf Complex for the final round of the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout starting at 8:30 a.m.
