NCAA Division II Super Regionals Round One Results

AMARILLO, Texas -- Academy of Art women's golf sits near the top of the board, tied for third place, after the first day of the NCAA Division II Super Regionals at the Amarillo Country Club. Sophomore Iveta Posledni is the Urban Knights highest placed individual, coming in at third following a 2-over-par 73 round one. ART U ends the day with a cumulative score of 305 (+21), just four strokes behind first place Oklahoma Christian (301) and two strokes behind second place Dallas Baptist (303).

Posledni's four birdies were second most of the entire field of 66 golfers and her (E) on par-4's was the second best score on such holes. Sophomore and PacWest individual champion Anahi Servin placed second highest for ART U with a four-over-par 75, including a pair of birdies, to end tied for ninth. Junior Elan Hawkins shot a 78 to tie for 21st, while redshirt junior Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo tied 23rd with a 79.
