PLNU Sea Lions Invitational (Final Results)

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Picking up where she left off last season, Academy of Art women's golf junior Anahi Servin would propel ART U to a fourth place finish at the PLNU Sea Lions Invitational, ending the action at 4-over-par 148 while the Knights totaled a 35-over-par 611.

While ART U started the day atop the leaderboard in both the team portion, they were not able to hold the lead from the surging Cal State San Marcos, who captured the tournament victory at 21-over-par 597. The defending PacWest champion Servin was once again leading the way for the Knights, turning in back-to-back 2-over-par 74's with a total of eight birdies, tied for most in the tournament. Though she started the day in second place, Servin would drop a spot to tie for third, finishing just two strokes behind winner Brady Turnquist of Biola. 

Also starting the day in first place was junior Iveta Posledni who carded a 6-over-par 78 in the final round to end in a tie for seventh place (7-over-par 151). Moving up two spots on the day was sophomore Jae Eun Park thanks to a 2-over-par 74, tied for ART U's lowest single-round score along with Servin, which helped her to a tie for 17th place at 9-over-par 153. Closing out the scoring for the Knights was Napat "Plern" Rattanaprakarn, who tied for 28th with a final score of 15-over-par 159. 

The Urban Knights will return to the links next week, as ART U travels to San Rafael, Calif. to take part in the Fall Birdie Fest hosted by fellow PacWest foe Dominican beginning on Sept. 20.
