2022 Lewis Crossover Results
ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Numerous season-best results and one personal record helped Academy of Art men's and women's cross country teams post a pair of 13th place finishes in the Lewis Crossover at the Lewis Cross Country Course on Saturday morning. Crossing the line inside the top 20, redshirt senior
Audrey Rosencrans led the women's squad while senior
Hudson Lockette's fastest 8k time to date propelled the men.

Besting his previous 8k personal record by nearly 30 full seconds, Lockette turned in a final time of 25:06.6 which put him 57th overall (51st among runners counting toward their respective team scores) out of 213 total runners. Freshman
Conrad Heinemann's fastest race as a collegiate competitor saw him go 25:18.1 for 73rd (66 toward team score).
The second time suiting up for ART U was a nearly 17-second improvement for graduate student
Sebastian Rivera Del Hierro who crossed the finish line in 82nd (72 toward team score) sporting a 25:30.9 mark. Two more season-bests rounding out the Urban Knights' qualifiers as freshman
Vaughn Lacour took 146th (105 toward team score) at 26:45.2 and redshirt freshman
Jaden Singleton claimed 164th (113 toward team score) at 27:04.7.
The team results had Academy of Art (407) taking 13th of 20 behind Minnesota-Duluth (330) and ahead of Winona State (465). Colorado Christian (47) placed first well ahead of Illinois-Springfield (80), but the race's victor was Dayton Brown (23:43.9) of Saginaw Valley.
Rosencrans stayed in the 6k race's upper tier throughout, averaging a mile pace of 5:58.4 en route to her final time of 22:16.6. Four seconds from her personal record, the mark was a season-best and put her 20th overall out of 188 total competitors. Clocking a time of 22:59.4 was freshman
Lisa Redlinger in 45th overall.
Sophomore
Michaela Andrews came across the finish line in 72nd overall (67th among runners counting toward their respective team scores) sporting a 23:30 mark while junior
Delanie Dykes moved through at 95th overall (84 toward team score) and, posting a 24:58.8, sophomore
Lina Hanich ended at 130th overall (100 toward team score).
As a team, Academy of Art finished 13th of 20 with 333 points behind Cal State San Marcos (304) and ahead of Davenport (383). Colorado Christian (68) was the top team to place, doing so over Minnesota-Duluth (92), but it was Winona State's Lindsay Cunningham (20:50.2) who finished first individually.
In its final meet before the Pacific West Conference Championships, ART U will be in Washington on Oct. 22 to contest NCAA D2 Pre-Nationals hosted by Seattle Pacific at Chambers Creek Regional Park.
