Iveta Posledni leading the way in 25th place while carding a 12-over-par 156.
Turning in the best final round for the Urban Knights was Posledni, as she shot a 10-over-par 82 on the final day after having begun the day in a tie for sixth place after her
2-over-par 74 yesterday. After a tough first start to the round, Posledni closed out the day on a strong note by totaling just one bogey over her final 12 holes of the day. Only one stroke behind her on the day was fellow senior
Anahi Servin at 11-over-par 83, dropping into a tie for 47th place in the tournament at 17-over-par 161. Rounding out the scoirng for ART U was sophomore
Napat "Plern" Rattanaprakarn in a tie for 86th place at 27-over-par 171, while freshman
Valeria Ruiz tied for 93rd at 29-over-par 173.
As a unit, the Urban Knights finished in 15th place just three strokes ahead of PacWest member Point Loma, though Biola was the the top finishing team from the PacWest in a tie for fourth place at 48-over-par 624. Both Texas A&M International and West Texas A&M tied for first place in the tournament at 34-over-par 610, while Breann Horn of Cal State San Marcos took home the individual title by just one stroke at 3-over-par 147.
After a week off, Academy of Art will return to the links on Feb. 28 when they participate in the CSUEB Pioneeer Shootout form Chuck Corica Golf Complex.
