2023 Wildcat Invitational Final Results

CHICO, Calif. -- Academy of Art men's golf stayed consistent all tournament, shooting within a five-stroke gap each round for a 11th place finish at the 2023 Chico State Wildcat Class at Butte Creek Country Club. The Urban Knights posted a 306 as a team in the final round to end with a cumulative score of 908 led by junior Giulio Zanichelli.

Zanichelli once again finished his day even with a 72, moving up four spots and ending the tournament at tied for 17th. His even three-round score of 216 came along with 11 total birdies throughout the tournament. Behind Zanichelli, tied for 58th with a cumulative score of 228 was junior Anson Pan who turned in a 4-over-par 76. Pan shot right in the middle of his previous rounds (75, 77) and concluded the tournament at 12 over par overall. Sophomore Jerah Venkaiya finished tied for 68th, moving up five spots after shooting a 5-over-par 77 in the final round. Two strokes behind finishing tied for 71st was senior Allan Osornio as he shot an 18-over-par 234.

ART U will look ahead to the Westmont Invitational which begins on Monday, Oct. 9 at Sandpiper Golf Course in Goleta, Calif.
