2013: Competed in five meets ... ran an 8k season-best 27:16.6 at the Bronco Invitational on Oct. 19 ... best placement (31st) came at the California Baptist Lancer Invitational on Sept. 7.

High School: Means was a three-year letter winner in cross country and two-year letter winner in track & field at Whitney M Young Magnet High School in Chicago, IL ... three-year team captain of track & field/cross country ... earned Most Improved in cross country in 2012 as well as All-City all three years ... holds the school records in both the 800m (1:57.33) and 4x800m ... lists one of his most memorable moments as going to state in both cross country and track & field in the same year.
