John F. Kennedy High School: Originally from southern California, Chavez graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, Calif. in 2014 ... in both her junior and senior seasons, she was given First Team All-Valley Mission League Honors and named Valley Mission League’s best offensive player ... playing primarily in the midfield position, Chavez also holds the record for the most goals-scored at JFK.
