Career: A product of Ridgeview High School, Carter won the state triple jump freshman record in 2008 ... was the AAU National Champion in the triple jump and captured the bronze medal in the long jump ... was ranked the #1 jumper in California for both the long jump (24'5") and the triple jump (50'10") with those marks serving as his lifetime bests ... his final 2011 statistics land Carter officially ranked US #10 in the triple jump (50'01.50”) and #20 in the long jump (24'00.75”).
